Trevor Moore: Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies
Trevor Moore’s professional career began when he first signed an entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2016 after going undrafted. He was assigned to the AHL (American Hockey League) affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, where he quickly became an important and consistent player for the team. During the 2017-18 season, he played a significant role in leading the Marlies to their first Calder Cup championship and he himself scored 17 points in the playoffs.

Trevor Moore’s strong performances earned him a call-up to the NHL (National Hockey League), and he made his debut for the Toronto Maple Leafs on December 23, 2018. He scored his first NHL goal on January 5, 2019, against the Vancouver Canucks and thus he showcased his potential. However, his stint with the Maple Leafs was brief, as he was traded midway through the 2019-20 season which marked a major turning point in his professional career.
In total, Moore played 186 AHL games with the Marlies, recording 116 points (40 goals, 76 assists) before earning a full-time NHL role.

His impressive two-way play earned him a five-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings in December 2022 and cemented his place with the team through the 2027-28 season.
