This limited series, starring Andrew Scott as Tom Ripley, Dakota Fanning as Marge Sherwood, Johnny Flynn as Dickie Greenleaf, Eliot Sumner as Freddie Miles, Margherita Buy as Signorina Buffi and Maurizio Lombardi as Inspector Pietro Ravini, is the first adaptation of Highsmith’s novel to series. At the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, it received 14 nominations, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and acting nods for Andrew Scott and Dakota Fanning, and won four, including Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Steven Zaillian. As of now, this is the first among Netflix top 5 thriller series of 2024 in our opinion.

The season 1 is equally heart-pounding thriller and has 8 episodes. This is the second among the Netflix top 5 thriller series of 2024.

The series is a live-action spin-off of the manga series Parasyte by the Japanese artist Hitoshi Iwaaki and depicts a confrontation with unidentified parasitic creatures that live on humans and have the urge to kill humans. It stars Jeon So-nee as Jeong Su-in, Koo Kyo-hwan as Seol Kang-woo, and Lee Jung-hyun as Choi Jun-kyung. We would like to put it in fourth spot among the Netflix top 5 thriller series of 2024.
